This gorgeous antique Limoges covered vegetable dish or soup tureen was crafted by the esteemed French porcelain manufacturer M. Redon, in partnership with La Porcelaine Limousine (PL Limoges). The pattern, likely dating from the early 1900s (circa 1905-1930s), features delicate pink roses and green foliage. The elegant, looping handles on the bowl and lid are heavily gilded with gold trim.
The item is in lovely vintage condition, consistent with its age. There are no chips or cracks. There is some minor, age-appropriate crazung on botton. wear/loss to the gold gilt on the handles and rim, which adds to its authentic antique character.
Measures approximately 9.5" across from handle to handle, 4.5" in height, 2.5" depth.
